Chisala has received many volunteers since 2007 and the community has since learned to work with overseas volunteers and specialists in a variety of areas.

 

One such training included a teacher-training project with experts from St Giles International School in London, UK. Two teacher trainers came to Chisala for 2 weeks and trained teachers from 5 local schools in new teaching techniques. The exposure to new ideas was welcomed by the teachers.

 

Expand has also wecomed World Challenge volunteers on several occasions who helped on a variety of projects from building to sports. If you are keen to volunteer and stay at Chisala or Mzimba sites then please email us.
